The customer
Strobbo is well-known to those in the retail or hospitality sectors. This staff scheduling and time tracking platform automates administrative tasks such as payroll integrations, Dimona returns, and time tracking. It’s a crucial task, with many challenges. BBy maintaining close contact with users, Strobbo can continuously adapt its software to meet their needs. Strobbo’s ability to implement new features faster than many competitors is due to its strong connection with Protime and SD Worx, along with its growing development capacity.
The case
With Euricom's help, Strobbo was able to modernize their legacy technology stack. For example, the software is now easier to scale than before because the original .NET architecture was difficult to maintain and expand, and the software was hosted on private servers. Strobbo therefore switched to a NodeJS backend and a VueJS frontend together with Euricom. By working in phases, Strobbo’s customers experienced minimal disruption.
Euricom helped develop a mobile app, migrate to Azure Services, and implement DevOps processes like automated deployments. As always, security was a top priority, and our Euricommers conducted automatic code scans and necessary penetration tests.

Within the SD Worx group, Strobbo is now seen as a role model in the field of security. This is partly due to the expertise of Euricommers such as Michiel, who has focused on this.
Our approach
From day one, the Euricommers were fully integrated as members of the team. Strobbo made no distinction between internal and external employees, which resulted in close cooperation and a strong commitment to the project. Several Euricommers worked in the workplace for a long time, while others took on a more coaching and advisory role.
In addition to the consultants on site, Strobbo was also able to count on the wider expertise within Euricom to always find the right solutions. Technically, we always looked at what Strobbo needed most at the time - and that line was also continued for the team. This is how Euricom always deployed the right people, both in terms of skills, personality and location. This made the collaboration feel more like a genuine, sustainable partnership than traditional outsourcing.

The result
The collaboration between Euricom and Strobbo led to excellent results. For example, the successful modernization of the outdated technology significantly improved stability, and there is now almost no downtime. Strobbo can now roll out releases automatically without hindering customers, which has greatly improved the user experience.
The customer base grew from 150 to nearly 2.000 customers, including big new names such as Bavet and Burger King. Thanks to Euricom’s help in developing efficient work processes, such as branching and merging strategies, the team was able to grow from 4 to 25 employees.
